360 special edition (lockbox and duffle! rofl) here

ps3 regular one...i thought about the duffel bag with lock box but I already got a giant halo head sitting next to my bed taking up space so I passed.

Why are you getting the ps3 ver ham? Don't care about the DLC / online play?

being my 4th 360 i don't trust the machine...if a game is exclusive to the 360 then ill pop for it but if its available for something else (ps3, pc) ill pick up the other version.

exclusive "episodic content" rumored to be as large as the expansions! well...whatever is worth the 50mill microsoft gave rockstar for the exclusivity. plus, multiplayer with us! =(

bleh that sucks man.  people busted their ass working on this and it gets jacked just like that.  thats not right, you break into a house or shoplift the game from the store and you're jacked, but you steal it off the internet and nothing happens.

i'll be getting the 360 version sometime soon.  what's the mp like? do you join up with each other and take some foos out? or run some trains on some hoes?  jack 50 cars in one night a la gone in 60 seconds??

weee local shop had it early, no waiting in line during midnight for me.  pretty neat so far.  level of detail is at least 10x's greater than san adreas.  voice acting is very good.  combat system is greatly improved.  over the shoulder view with cover...kinda like gears of war...but melee still kinda sucks.  if you like gta go buy this game, well worth the money.  if you didn't like the others ones, well tbh you prolly wont like this one either as its basically more of the same.

hmm sounds like theres some freezing problems with both versions of the game.  anyone having issues so far?

Apparently you have to re-install on the ps3. I'm not sure for the 360 since I haven't seen anything.

oh and clearly im a sucker for those special editions so i picked up the big metal box to accompany my giant halo head.  no way would i ever use that bag in public though...do you get a key with the box?  cuz mine didn't come with one.
