xbox live summer of arcade 2009

microsoft has done a good job with their 2 summer of arcades so far.

the last of the games was released today.

shadow complex. and for the 20 mins or so I played, it's pretty damn good.

also picked up Splosion Man, which seemed dumb at first, but after trying it, it's also a pretty awesome game. tried Trials HD as well, probably one of the simplest games as far as controls go, but works quite well. That one is similar to excite bike/motocross madness.

mvc2 and tmnt were also part of the mix

i'm starting to find that these $10-$15 smaller ms live/psn games are more entertaining, better bang for the buck than the usaual $60 normal games or $100 w/ helmet games.

sad but true.

maybe you're getting too old for games these days and want to stick with the simpo kiddie games?

by definition $60 will result in no bang/buck.
