I refuse to be anti-science. I refuse to be anti-life. In the name of Christ, I quit Christianity and being Christian. Amen.”

Never watched Interview with a Vampire or read any of her books. And to be fair, it is pretty drama-queenish as far as announcing it in this way. Why should anyone care what a (pulp?) author thinks about religion, right? But she pretty much hits the nail on the head as far as how I feel about the faith I was raised in, as well as other sects prevalent in the US. Get outta mah head, Anne Rice.
