Daessa and I used to go to a yakitori place over at the New Otani Hotel called Nanbantei.  It was right downstairs from the Curry House, next to the Kinnokuniya.  It was one of the only true yakitori-ya's around at the time.  I'd been going there for nearly 20 years before they finally closed up shop.  They used to hook us up with crazy free food since we'd been going there for so long.
