haha my 11 game purchase never got through but my 1 5 dollar game purchase did =\

i got my order confirmation at 4am and no cancellation email. But checking the order online shows all my items as backordered

damn you.  i did my order before you all and mine got cancelled.  Actually my order said they were cancelled because the items were discontinued even though those same items are listed on their site still with different prices.  I wrote them a pretty long email arguing the semantics of the cancellation.  I mean, I was quote .002 cents per kilobyte...amirite?

i just checked my order history and my 11 game purchase is still in processing, just no email confirm haha.

btw supposedly the $2 games were a "price mistake" and not some sort of sale so they can't be held to those prices. Apparently they had a similar "price mistake" with some of their DVD's last week which they cancelled most of those orders. kinda shady imo.

hehe nutting shady about it.  they're protecting their asses just like every other company.  mistakes happen i mean come on, we pay blizzard 15 bux a month to deal with their mistakes and partially functioning features.  at least DD actually refunds your money.

if the errors were indeed accidental then yeah Ham, it's just covering their asses.  I'm sure their accountbase skyrockets each time one of these errors happens, only to turn people away.  So while it's a good pseudo-marketing plan in order to draw people to your site if they are doing it intentionally, i was sooo looking forward to my new games.  /cry

ahhh ic ic.  didnt' see the part about it happening last week also.  in that case I do agree, it is a little shady to be switching prices like that just to generate more traffic.
