Recently when I go to sync my iPod in iTunes I get an error stating that the iPod can't be read from or written to. I'm not quite sure what's going, I've tried uninstalling iTunes then re-installing it. I've also tried to restore my iPod but nothing. I've got everything up to date, just not sure why this is going on. If anybody has run into this prob please reply. I want to get this prob fixed, been tryin to look other places but I'm not finding anything but older fixes to this prob that don't work anymore since the software has significantly changed since then.

Did you get the iPod icon of death?  Threre's a way to factory restore the iPod through the iPod instead of iTunes.  You might want to try that.

No I haven't gotten that. Never seen it

1) Take ipod to Apple store
2) Throw ipod at clerk at the Genius Bar.
3) Pick up newly reset ipod.

Yeah, I might have to take it in. I made sure I had Windows fully updated, even though I just recently updated it, and it's still occuring. This is so annoying.

i had that same problem but what I did was tried syncing it on Jrayke's PC.  it stated it needed to reset my iPod since it wasn't originally synced on her computer.  So i did that then brought it back to my PC and it reset again.  been fine since then.

The hard drive is fine, I'm gonna take it to the Apple Store after I pick up my final pay check from work since there's one in the mall. I just wanna get this fixed before I leave for basic so I can take it to Virginia Beach for my A-school.
