Fine, I'll buy that high explosive rounds are ineffective. So why wouldn't the military try standard sabot rounds? You're telling me that a depleted uranium slug fired from an M-1 tank, traveling at 1700 m/s, isn't going to penetrate the monster? WTF is it made out of, titanium?
