overall were pretty lame this year...guess because of the insane cost to advertise during the game there just weren't alot of companies doing ads...there were like 10 coke ads, 10 bud ads and 20 commercials for cbs shows. at least the game was good.

The GTA one is adapted from a movie theater commercial from like two years ago. In its original form I thought it was quite good, but condensed into 30 second form it loses some of its charm.

I think some of the Bud Light one's weren't too bad (the gorillas, the hitchhikers), the Snickers commercial made me cringe, and the Blockbuster one was kind of cute. Overall, I think i was actually more interested in the game this year than the commercials though... plus a decent half-time show for a change.

The general sloppiness in the game made it more exciting to watch in the first half because you were just waiting for the next fumble/interception to happen, which you would hope would lead to breakaway runs. By the 2nd half though I had lost much of the interest because it seemed clear that unless Chicago got defensive touchdowns or something was returned by special teams that they were going to lose. Grossman is such a chucker, he will throw to anyone who is open even if they are wearing the other team's uniform.

i wonder what the news is like this morning in chicago.. remember that play where the colts fumbled to the bears, then the bears (grossman) fumbled the next play? i mean, i know grossman can't throw the ball, but was it me or was he unable to handle a snap. sheesh.
