hey looks like all of them are getting into the performance game.  suck ass name though...Infiniti Infiniti performance line...almost as bad as bmw's z4 sdrive35is...they actually have the entire sdrive35is on the side of the car....  still good to see more competition.  keep the other manufacturers on their toes.

I wonder how this ties in to Nissan recently tying the knot with Daimler and that Mercedes may be building the replacement for the 15 year old VQ series engine for the Z.

Would be sweet if merc started jamming their giant v8s into z cars. Their upcoming v8s are ridiculous...450 hp and almost 500 torques in a non amg model. Though z purists would probably consider a v8 in their cars blasphemy...be like sticking a v8 in a 911 or moving the engine to the front of the car.

Come to think of it merc 6 cylinders have never been anything special. If they wanted the pedigree, performance and history they should have gone with bmws inline 6 or porsches flat 6. One of those in a z car would be something special. Granted this would have BMW and Porsche fans in an uproar so it'll never happen.
