Even though I'm a sci fi fan and there are things more fantastic than the premise of Gattaca, I found the science inaccuracies too distracting for me to enjoy it. I'm not sure why that bothers me more on some movies (Mission Impossible, The Net, Enemy of the State) than others (Star Wars, Star Trek) I guess it didn't help that I was working on the Human Genome Project at the time Gattaca was released.
I did like Fifth Element though with Bruce Willis and the awesome visuals (costuming was excellent). Deebo for Pres!
