Probably b/c the Canadians aren't spending trillions of dollars invading other countries.

i just came back from toronto and i must say i'm not used to the exchange rate being 1:1 (and it was even .9 US : 1 CD at one point)i've been reading that the canadian dollar is going to be a much more stable currency than the USD in the next 10-15 yrs
