depending on the map, you can sometimes know the reapers have to come from a certain direction. Kulas is an example. So park marines in that approach and no problem. Or build one bunker/photon in your mineral line to buy you a little time. If you are zerg, queen surrounded by speedlings is enough to fight off that first reaper rush. Also speedlings on creep are faster than reapers.
Guess i've been lucky so far as I haven't lost to a reaper rush yet. Usually by the time they show up I have a banshee or two and I giggle as the little shits get rocketed to death.
